Public Health
The Task Force follows the public health policies and requirements of local government in planning all our events. We have been and will continue to monitor public health information about COVID-19 from the City of San Francisco. As of December 2022, these local recommendations include wearing a mask when cases increase, or if you or someone you live with is in a higher-risk population.
If the City of San Francisco updates these policies any time prior to Creating Change, including the possibility that wearing masks or proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is required for a large, indoor gathering like Creating Change, the Task Force will enforce these protocols and requirements at Creating Change 2023.
If you have registered for Creating Change and are unable to meet public health requirements for the conference, the Task Force will refund your registration in full. The Task Force is not responsible for any expenses related to travel or lodging.
By registering for the 2023 conference, you understand and agree that Creating Change and the National LGBTQ Task Force are released and held harmless from all liability related to COVID-19, COVID-19 variants, and any other communicable infections arising from participation at Creating Change 2023 in San Francisco.

Creating Change 365
While there will not be simultaneous hybrid/virtual programming during Creating Change in San Francisco, the Task Force has begun to launch a new program: Creating Change 365. CC 365 aims to be a series of year-round online engagements that enhance and grow the annual Creating Change experience for a virtual audience. As this program is built into the future, the Task Force will have additional capacity for individual workshop-style virtual presentations, such as those that might be hosted at an in-person conference.
